Speaking to the soul, stature and empowerment of this community. Its essence is not only sacred but also celestial moment of empowerment for this historic black community. Our color story and design gestures were meant to bring out the regality of Navy tones punctuated with gold accents and fiery rich tangerine reds. The use of linear gestures in our floor pattern and our wall tile represented rising motions and directional movement. The lighting created celestial softness in this community space for families who deserve it the most.
